Description
A small tea cup and saucer that’s been handmade from stoneware clay by Japanese potter Yuichi Murakami. Each one has been hand thrown on the wheel at his studio in Toki, Gifu Prefecture.
Used for drinking green tea, this teacup and saucer are particularly characterful as it has a fantastic glaze in a white colour. Across the surface runs subtle marks and specs, which is from the white glaze over a iron rich clay. Definitely one of a kind.
